Leehy to Play Volleyball at DMACC

Leehy has been a two-year letter winner for the Titans. She received the Most Set Assist Award during her junior year and the Setters Award during her senior season. She was named the Most Outstanding Player on her team this past year.

Leehy was a Hawkeye 10 All-Conference selection each of the last two years. She was named to the All District Team during her senior year. She has been active in Club Volleyball for the past five years. She is also a two-year letter winner in track.

Leehy received the All-Conference Academic Award for the 2010-2011 volleyball season. She is an honor roll recipient and a finalist in the Iowa State Bar Association’s Know Your Constitution 2010 award.

She is the daughter of Ben and Tammy Leehy.

“Jordan is an intelligent and versatile student-athlete who will make great contributions to the DMACC Volleyball team over the next two years,” said DMACC Head Volleyball Coach Patty Harrison. “We’re anxious to see her talents with the DMACC Bears next fall.”

She joins the Bears, who have advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Volleyball Tournament four of the last five years. The Bears had a 26-15 overall record in 2010.
