Richter to Play Golf at DMACC

Richter, the daughter of Therese Richter and the late David Richter, is a four-year member of the Bishop Garrigan girls’ varsity golf team. She helped her team to the Class 1A state championship in 2009 and to a runner-up finish in 2010.

Richter is played volleyball for Bishop Garrigan and is a three-year member of the dance team. She has won numerous honors in dance competition and as a junior traveled to California for national competition, where she placed first, second and third in various categories.

Richter is an honor student and has been involved in numerous community service projects.

She plans to attend DMACC for two years and then transfer to Iowa State University or the University of Northern Iowa. She wants to major in elementary education and would also like to get a degree in business finance or accounting.
