Great Expectorations (the respiratory therapy club) primarily involves students in the Respiratory Therapy program but is open to all DMACC students who are interested in respiratory medicine. Activities include fundraising for organizations involved with cardiopulmonary health, attendance at educational conferences and social activities.

Club Name: Graphx Club
Program: Graphic Technology

Meetings: 2x monthly

The GraphX Club is managed by students in the Graphic Technologies program. The main focus of the club is to raise funds to help offset the cost of the second year trip to an out-of-state trade show and a senior portfolio showing event. This annual trip has usually been to the National GRAPHIC show held annually in Chicago. Other activities include end of the term luncheons, participation in the DMACC Student Activities Council, participation in the Midwest Printing & Graphics Association meetings and competitions, and other activities as approved by the club.

All students enrolled in the Graphic Technologies Program are automatically members of the club; however, any DMACC student may join and participate. Membership is free. Meetings are held as scheduled by the club board of directors. Elections are held in at the beginning of the fall and spring terms.
