Student Health Services

A registered nurse is located in Building 5 - Room 19 offering emergency treatment for students and staff who become ill or injured on campus. There are also some extended services to Boone & Carroll. She is available to assist with a wide variety of health-related issues and questions. A physician is available once per week in the Student Health Services (Nurse's) Office during fall and spring semesters to treat students at no charge for minor ailments. Check with the Nurse for the doctor's on-campus hours.

Information on low-cost Student Accident and Health Insurance Plans is also available through the Student Health Services Office.


Student Assistance Program

This program is available at NO COST to help students with problems involving school, family, relationships, work, substance use/abuse, etc. If you are faced with problems you don't want to deal with alone, call the Student Assistance Program at (515) 244-6090 to arrange a confidential visit with a counselor. The initial evaluation and referral services are offered to you at NO COST.
