New Faculty Web Page Welcomes Carroll Campus Students

As students at Des Moines Area Community College’s (DMACC’s) Carroll Campus register for their fall courses, they have a new way to meet and learn about their instructors and other staff even before they attend their first class.

Through a newly published Web page on the DMACC Carroll Campus site, each instructor’s profile, complete with a photograph, the courses they teach, their educational background and other facts, are published, helping acquaint students with their professors beyond the classroom.

Students can find out which faculty member played college football with National Football League quarterback Kurt Warner and learn which instructor has a hobby of racing cars. They can also find out which two instructors are finishing their advanced nursing degrees from the University of Wyoming. Facts like these and others are about DMACC’s Carroll Campus staff are now available at http://www.dmacc.edu/carroll/facultystaff.asp.

Registration for the fall 2007 semester is under way now and runs through Aug. 26. To register for fall classes, students can go to www.dmacc.edu to enroll. Classes begin August 27.
