DMACC English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
English as a Second Language is a program for people who speak, read and write best in a language other than English and desire to improve their use of the English language. Entry-level English through academic English is available.
The Credit ESL courses at DMACC are designed for intermediate and advanced ESL students who want to develop academic English language skills for greater success in college-level classes, professional work or for personal development. Course topics include English grammar, writing, reading, listening and speaking. Students taking Credit ESL courses earn developmental or academic credit and may qualify for financial aid.
