Mortuary Science Program
About the Program
The DMACC Mortuary Science Program is designed to prepare students for careers in the Funeral Service Profession.
The program meets the accreditation requirements of the American Board of Funeral Service Education as well as the Iowa Board of Mortuary Science.
The DMACC Mortuary Science Program offers students the option of completing an on-campus program or an online program. The main difference is that on-campus students come to campus 1 to 3 days per week for the 11 to 14 month program, while online students will come to campus 3 or 4 times during the program.
