DMACC Mortuary Science Class Admission
Program Entry Requirements
1. Complete a DMACC Application.

2. Satisfy DMACC’s general assessment requirement and attend any required information/registration sessions.
The admissions office will guide you through these steps.
3. a. Submit a transcript of all completed college
work that indicates the awarding of a minimum of an Associate Degree (AA,
AS, AAS, AGS) from a regionally accredited college or university, or
b. Submit a transcript of all completed college work that indicates having earned a minimum of 64 college credits from a regionally accredited college or university with a grade average of “C” or above.
The colleges or universities attended should send this directly to the DMACC Admissions office.

4. Submit evidence of a minimum of 15 credits earned in general education, that includes one communications course, one mathematics course, and one social/behavioral science course.
These courses will be found on the transcripts submitted. The courses used to meet these requirements are any course listed in the AA, AS, AGS, AAS degree options for DMACC. To see a listing of the courses which will meet these requirements, you may visit the degree options found at http://www.dmacc.edu/aadegree.asp.
5. Submit the Request for Online Option form
6. Submit the Proctor request form
7. Submit a completed Professional Experiences form
8. Complete the Mortuary Science Online Orientation
The Mortuary Science Orientation will be made available to admitted students
each year from July 1st to August 31st.
