2007 World Food Prize Dinner
The DMACC Viticulture and Enology program presented information about the Midwest grape and wine industry to the laureates attending the 2007 World Food Prize dinner.  Attendees from around the world were able to sample some of the Iowa wines that won gold medals at the 2007 Mid-American Wine Competition.

Mid-American Wine Competition
July 11-13, 2008
The 2008 Mid-American Wine Competition will be July 11, 12 and 13, 2008, in Iowa and will focus only on the wines of the Midwest. The competition is open only to commercial wineries of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. In 2008, the competition will give wineries the opportunity to have their wines judged against carefully selected food friendly dishes. This is the first competition in the United States to offer this format.
