Specialist Certificate in Telecommunications
This certificate program prepares the student for working in telecommunications
at the entry level. The course prepares students to work on local installations
of communication services in both business and residential settings. Topics
of training include; outside telecom equipment and cabling, pole climbing
and working aloft, splicing copper and fiber optic cables, connections
and maintenance of business switching equipment and basic telecom equipment
repair.
