The ITA supports DMACC West Campus Telecommunications in many ways. Each year, students are asked to attend the ITA industry expo, ITA member companies throughout the state hire and recruit from our program and ITA companies offer many internships to our students during the summer months. |

Providing the most advanced telecom test sets in the world, JDSU leads the way in helping DMACC West Campus. Students are allowed to work with and use advanced test gear to help isolate network troubles. |
Taqua provides the West Campus with state of the art “softswitching” technology. The Taqua partnership also provides a regional training center for Taqua and Iowa telecom industry professionals. Students are trained on next generation switching equipment that is in high demand for the current telecom market.

Through a shared vision of education, Nortel has helped dmacc with newer software upgrades to our carrier class switches. Nortels contributions help students access and use the latest in switching software and work with residential and business features. |
| Through a partnership with CISCO, Vital has helped in the building and development of the telecom laboratory LAN and VOIP platforms. This cutting edge technology is introduced to students as they progress through the program. |
The highly qualified staff at CISCO have helped our telecom lab spaces by helping to provide technical and engineering support utilizing various Cisco products. Students are exposed to Cisco routers and switches and how to make them function and communicate. |

CES is a sponsor and supporter of the telecom program by providing access to high tech telecom testing equipment. As a manufacturers representative, CES provides our students a multitude of different, telecom specific test applications for use in our West campus labs. |
The SubSurface Solutions company based in Omaha Nebraska has provided the latest in underground cable locating equipment to the DMACC West Campus Telecom department. SubSurface also provides student training on the latest in OSP testing technologies. |
