DMACC West Campus 3 on 3 Basketball Classic

The DMACC West Campus hosts a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament the last Saturday in July. This year’s tournament date is July 26, 2008. The tournament is held at DMACC’s West Campus, 5959 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines.

The annual event is a fundraiser for the West Campus’ scholarship program. The 2007 tournament raised $30,000 dollars in scholarships for DMACC West students.

The tournament creates a positive economic impact by attracting hundreds of players and fans to Central Iowa. The event is open to players of ages and abilities. Teams are grouped by gender, age, ability, and playing experience. The tournament is limited to the first 120 teams. Registered officials are used for all games. Custom-made medals are awarded to top three teams in each division.

Teams can register on-line at www.wildwest3on3.com. Registration is $60 if submitted prior to the end of June, and $80.00 beginning in July.
